Bad Bad Girls
To preface this blog, Kati and I never claimed to be nice girls.
Recipe of a good never ending prank:
- a large container of laundry detergent
- 2 sets of rubber gloves
- 1 large walk way with hand rails
1. pour a generous amount of laundry detergent all over walk way
2. Proceed to rub detergent on hand rails, door and door handle
The effects will last until the lazy boys living in apartment positioned by walk way wash it off completely. Until washed water guns from neighbor girls will make it extremely slippery and remains will track into the apartment making any floor, carpet or title extremely sticky.
Mother's Day
Everyone is always amazed at how much I look like my mom. I love that I look like her. I don't think I would want to look like anyone else because of who she is inside and out. She is someone who listens when I cry and wipes away the tears that can't be seen with the eye. She is not only an amazing individual but a wonderful mom. Mom, I hope you know how much I love and appreciate you!!!
My 23rd Birthday
I never do good with getting older, not because I'm not married, I promise. But because life just seems to go faster and faster and I just keep growing up. This ended up being a great birthday, surrounded by friends and family reminding me why we have birthdays, to celebrate the birth of people we love. Thanks to everyone that helped make my birthday not just barable but wonderful. And no I am not used to being 23 yet, that part still sucks!
Batting Cages
What do you in Provo for fun? That seems to be a big question for people that move here. Well the truth is you have to ge inventive, so a bunch of us decided to take a shot at the batting cages, they couldn't be that hard, right? Wrong, besides the fact that my hand-eye coordination struggles, my hands had never hurt so bad the next day. But surprisingly I hit the ball (we'll keep the part that I was in the softball cage that was a slow pitch a secret). Sure that night i was excited I hit some balls but the next day I was like dang I should have missed more, so my hands wouldn't hurt so much.
Cinco De Mayo
So being the kids we are in Provo, our buddies especially, they decided to throw a Cinco De Mayo party. As for me, I don't really know what is celebrated on this holiday but we used it as an excuse to eat way too much, listen to really cheesy mexican music and speak in our esse accents. All in all it was not a bad holiday.
