Monkeying Around

Lately we've been having to find fun where ever we are. After the game on Monday we decided to go bowling. While we waited for other people we were meeting, we decided it would be a good idea to break into the kiddie area and play around. The pictures will show you just we were up to. (sorry no bowling picture...the camera died....but I did win, and I'm with Mandy it was a blast.)

In Case You Don't Know Who Boozer is......

Kicking Off the Season Right

So after the football game, I debated whether I was a sport girl at all, but after I went to the Jazz game, I decided I'm a true basketball girl and football when I can sit down! I am in love with #5, Carlos Boozer because he is amazing and I have the jersey to prove it. Me and the roommates had a blast and got to celebrate Erika's 19th birthday! She's our youngin and we love her!

BYU Football 2007

If you are looking for the rowdy bunch at the football game....look no further, here we are. Whether it was screaming at Cosmo (BYU mascot), screaming at a touchdown, screaming at the male cheerleaders (long story), screaming at the refs, screaming at eachother (always in love) or screaming because we won......we were there living it up and screaming loud. Come to think of it so was the whole stadium, you got to love those BYU fans. As for me I was tired and ready to go watch it on the TV by the four quarter but that was not an option with my friend, Kati, who I somtimes wonder if she has blue and white running through her veins because I know her mom, Kelly, does. I guess it runs in the family.....but not my family, I go for the party!..... now that runs in my family.

Just a Thought

"Do you often find youself let down by others? Do you have a hard time trusting people? If so, it may be because your interactions based on expectations, as opposed to preferences. Expectation lead to negative emotions of disappointment and frustration, while preferences help us to more easily manage our emotions and channel them positively. An expectation is based on a feeling of entitlement, whether that is conscious or not. It's a direct manifestation of the consumer condition. It shows that our trust is not placed in principles, which sureties that we can depend on in every context. Preferences are based on a trust despite what others around us may do. The next time you are disappointed by someone or some event, check yourself for expectations, and scrub your emotions and thoughts of them."

"Happiness does not depend on what happens outside of you but on what happens inside of you. It is measured by the spirit with which you meet the problems of life.”- Harold B. Lee
